1. Service Agreement

By engaging Rocks Garden Maintenance for garden and lawn care services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Our services include:

  • Grass cutting and lawn maintenance
  • Hedge trimming and pruning
  • Garden maintenance and clearing
  • Weeding and plant care
  • Seasonal garden services

All services are provided across Leicester and Leicestershire by qualified, insured professionals.

2. Booking and Quotes

Free Quotes: We provide free, no-obligation quotes for all services. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Booking Process: Services must be booked in advance. We will confirm appointment times via phone or email.

Site Access: You must provide safe, reasonable access to the work area. We reserve the right to refuse service if access is unsafe or unreasonable.

Changes to Bookings: Please provide at least 24 hours notice for changes or cancellations to avoid potential charges.

3. Payment Terms

Payment Methods: We accept cash, bank transfer, and most major payment methods.

One-off Services: Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed.

Regular Services: Payment terms will be agreed at the start of any regular maintenance contract.

Late Payments: Late payment charges may apply for overdue accounts (28 days or more).

4. Our Responsibilities

Rocks Garden Maintenance will:

  • Provide services with reasonable skill and care
  • Arrive at agreed times (weather permitting)
  • Use appropriate, well-maintained equipment
  • Clean up and dispose of garden waste appropriately
  • Maintain full public liability insurance
  • Respect your property and privacy

5. Customer Responsibilities

As our customer, you agree to:

  • Provide safe, reasonable access to work areas
  • Inform us of any hazards, utilities, or special requirements
  • Secure or remove valuable items from work areas
  • Ensure pets are controlled and cannot interfere with work
  • Make payment according to agreed terms
  • Provide feedback if you're not satisfied with our service

6. Weather and Cancellations

Weather Conditions: Services may be postponed due to adverse weather conditions including heavy rain, snow, ice, or high winds that would make work unsafe or damage your garden.

Rescheduling: We will contact you to reschedule any cancelled appointments as soon as possible.

Customer Cancellations: 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. Cancellations with less notice may incur charges.

7. Limitation of Liability

Insurance: We maintain comprehensive public liability insurance. Claims should be reported immediately.

Property Damage: While we take every care, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage or defects
  • Damage to underground utilities not clearly marked
  • Damage to plants due to disease, pest, or weather conditions
  • Indirect or consequential losses

Maximum Liability: Our total liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.

8. Health and Safety

We are committed to maintaining the highest health and safety standards:

  • All staff are trained in safe working practices
  • Equipment is regularly maintained and inspected
  • We follow current health and safety regulations
  • Risk assessments are conducted for all work sites

Customers must inform us of any known hazards or risks on their property.

9. Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR requirements. Your information is used solely for providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

10. Complaints and Disputes

Customer Satisfaction: If you're not satisfied with our service, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

Complaint Process: We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly. Formal complaints will receive a written response within 14 days.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes will be governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to services booked after the update date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
